Top 10 Catfish from the 2015 season.

Here’s our annual top 10 from another great season of Catfishing on the lower Ebro:

10. A 2 day visit in early August proved to be worthwhile for Mick Riddell who hit this lunker of 162lb fishing with a mullet in the margins on Mourinho’s drift.

2. Day tripper’s delight for Alec Pratt as the non-angler bagged 3 over 100 in a single day session on the lower Delta in late August. This 180 which took a small carp was the highlight.

  1. Fish of the year goes to Ron Richter on his first visit to the Ebro. Not content with catching a 141 lb albino, Ron added this behemoth of 195lb caught in Amposta on a mullet!
Close to 8ft long and carrying weight down to the tail, this 195 is the lower ebro's second biggest to date.
