Somewhat patchy period of Catfishing at the beginning of September this year, with unsettled weather and dropping temperatures not particularly helpful.
The best fish of late have been caught by Ross Thompson, a 128 which took a bait fished close to the marginal weed-beds at Deltebre, whilst there was also a 126 for Steve Walton when a legered carcass was picked up on the mouth of a muddy inlet also in the delta section. Cosmin Dicu of Romania also got his first ever big Ebro cat with a 103lb which took chicken close to the chicken factory at Amposta.
