Lower Ebro Catfishing…. Latest Catch Reports…. late Oct / Early Nov 2013

With weather conditions beginning to turn more autumnal, and the first big winds coming down, it’s not been an easy week for Gary Carter and son Lucas. ¬†Despite this, there’s been some good results either side of the poor weather, with a tally of 3 100+ cats for the week.

Lucas took the first lunker of the trip in fading light on the first day, when a 126lber snatched a carp livebait on ‘Saville Row’ in the Delta section.

Day 2 belonged to dad Gary, who took a 140lber from roughly the same area. Carp again proved to be the successful bait, with the mullet playing hard to get.

Ferocious winds and a massive temperature drop killed the action for a couple of days – but as the weather improved the fishing also slowly began to pick up, with 2 more fish for Lucas. The first was a very fit 65, and the holiday was finished off in some style with a 158 taken on a coloured water feature well down the Delta – which put up an epic battle!
