August continues to produce some behemoth Catfish from the lower Ebro and it’s been a successful 3 day stint for Ian Quinn with his son Max. Although at times there were long waits between bites, it’s all worthwhile when the fish are of the highest calibre.
Max was given a superb fight from a powerful fish which turned out to be a 181lber, one of the biggest fish of the season to date. Ian had to wait until the final moments of the last day before his patience was rewarded with a new PB of 125lb, which rounded off a successful trip.
