After a frustrating few days of catching plenty of small / medium sized fish, it was a relief to get back into the heavy weights last week. Martin Eyres’ party of 4 enjoyed some outstanding fishing with a great haul of 18 moggies in 4 day’s fishing – including 4 over the ton. Some changeable, stormy weather had dipped the water temperature slightly and this seemed to have the desired effect as the big Catfish switched on with notables including a 152 for Paul Welling, 141 for Martin Eyres & 124, 101, 97, 95 & 86 all falling to Jon Atter!
