No Cluckin’ Way! Big Ebro Catfish have a taste for chicken…

Bottom fishing with pieces of legered chicken carcass has been producing some excellent results down on the lower Ebro, with an ever growing number of 100+ Catfish being tempted on static bottom baits fished in amongst weedy areas.

With rule changes regarding the use of live baits now being implemented, a switch in tactics to the static method has been working particularly well with some jumbo sized Catfish happy to accept bottom baits fished in pre-baited swims.

Here’s a selection of a few of the big Cat’s that have felt like Chicken tonight, and it’s already looking an impressive portfolio…
